Poker

So I went up to Blackhawk today and played a couple tourney's with Derek and Jason. First tourney had 60 people in it and the top 6 spots paid out. It was nice because we paid $80 and that bought us in to both tourney's, bad thing though is that it reduced the payouts a lot. First tourney I played really good, made it down to the final 16 players, went all in with A8 and got called by KQ, he ended up hitting a K on the river and I was done :-(

2nd tourney started off good, I won a few early pots, my table wasn't talkative at all and eventually I became a bit bored and started playing more aggressively which ultimately led to my demise. I ended up finishing about 40th out of 60, not a good showing, but next time I'll do better!!!
